就目前情况来看，我们所确定的汉藏同源词从总体上看是零星的、不成系统 的。造成这一状况的一个重要原因是我们以往在汉藏同源词的确定过程中忽略或排 除了形态。我们认为汉藏同源词的确定应建立在形态研究的基础上。

Ingeneral, our identification of Sino-Tibetan cognates to date has tended to be fragmentary and not systematized. The main reasons for this situation were the omission or elimination of morphological forms during the process of identification. The authors of this paper therefore believe that the identification of Sino-Tibetan cognates must therefore be based on morphological research.
