A Preliminary Report on the Resources of Wild Ornamental Orchids in Hunan Province

湘西与湘南为湖南野生兰类的主要产区。本文对40种观赏价值较大的兰类植物的简要形态特征及分布作了描述。提出了湖南野生兰类资源开发利用的建议。

This article revealed the general distribution of wild ornamental orchids resources in Hunan province and pointed out west Hunan and south Hunan are the major areas producing wild orchids. 40 species of beautiful wild ornamental orchids were briefly described. The author made some suggestions to preserve and explore and utilize the wild ornamental orchids in Hunan province.
