摘要
The Chinese intellectuals opened two ways of explanation of the theory of Spengler in the age of national crisis of 1920s-1930s. One was the School of Warring States Polices. It formed a series of political conception of modernity with strong power and willing. The other was the aesthetics of Zong Baihua and Fang Dongmei. It was a kind of aesthetic conception of modernity with strong utopia sentiment.
