An Abstract from “A Scanning of the New Developments in Music Psychology”

从20世纪80年代至21世纪初,这是中国音乐心理学发展较为迅速的阶段。这一时期的学术动态,具有学科构建初见成效,学术队伍初步形成,研究成果纷呈迭出;研究者广泛吸取西方心理学各流派的学说,取其精华、为我所用;应用性研究颇具影响,本土化研究方兴未艾的特点。回顾近年国内音乐心理学的发展与存在的不足,可以预见,21世纪是中国音乐心理学走向整合的阶段,亦是其任重道远、不断探索的时期。一代代有志者的奋发努力,是学科持续发展并在国内外心理学界确立自己的位置的保证。

From the 1980s to the beginning of the 21st century, has been a relatively rapid development period for Music Psychology in China. In this period, the construction of this branch of learning began, the study team was formed, the achievments in research have begun to yield results, the researchers broadly absorbed the quintessences of the western school of thought in Psychology to put into their own research. The main characters of study in this period are utilization and localization. Looking back over the development of Music Psychology in China, we can forecast that the study of Music Psychology in the 21st Century China will be a period of conformity and probing. With the efforts of researchers made in China, we believe that this branch of learning will be constantly developing and have its own position in the field of Psychology in the world.
