汉长安城桂宫四号建筑遗址发掘简报

Excavation of the No. 4 Building Ruins, Guigong Palace, Han Chang'an City

桂宫四号建筑遗址位于汉长安城桂宫东北角,由中间通道分隔为东、西两部分建筑。西部建筑由殿堂基址及其附属建筑房屋和殿堂基址南面的庭院组成,东部建筑由殿堂基址及其附属建筑房屋、天井和西墙、北墙等组成。从建筑布局来看,桂宫四号建筑遗址是后妃们进行宫事活动的辅助地点及主要生活区。

The No. 4 building ruins of the Guigong Palace lie at Liucunbu Village of Liucunbu Township in Weiyang District, Xi'an City, at the locus 182m east of the western palace-wall and 215m south of the northern palace-wall of the Guigong Palace, Han Chang'an City. A central road, measuring at present 95m in length and 8.92m in width, divides the site into a western and an eastern part. The former is 95. 2m long from the north to the south and 40. 6m wide from the west to the east, and consists of the foundations of the main hall, those of its auxiliary buildings F1 and F4, and a court to its south. The latter is 103.55m long from the north to the south and 57.85m wide from the west to the east, and comprises the foundations of the main hall and the remains of its two auxiliary houses, two patios and western and northern walls. The objects unearthed from the site include flat tiles, semi-cylindric ones and tile-ends, which date from the mid and late Western Han period. Judging from the layout, the No. 4 building complex must have been the auxiliary place of the queen and maids of honor of different ranks' palace activities and the main area of their living.
