2001年4月，浙江省博物馆展出了杭州雷峰塔地宫出土文物，内中的鎏金银质塔颇引人注目，塔通高35厘米，透过塔身镂空处，可看到内有金质容器，据认为可能就是金棺，棺内应供奉有钱弘俶的佛螺髻发。
A couple of gilded pagodas built by Emperor of Yue were unearthed in the areas of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces in recent years.Japan also keeps several precious ones. This passage analyzes the historic source, the evolution of the form and the culturalcommunication between west and orient on this kind of gilded pagoda, which is the first article to systematically address thegilded pagoda.
