在新民主主义革命时期,作为蒋介石的心腹重臣,张治中将军虽然长期置身于国民党最高决策之列,但却始终坚持爱国主义立场,始终不渝地坚持孙中山先生的三大政策,尽心竭力地为促进两党的团结合作而走呼吁,苦心积虑地维护国内和平与统一,并能在一定范围和职权内,为人民和革命事业做了许多有益事。张治中正是以这种特殊的地位为中国民主革命作出了自己特殊的贡献。自然也赢得了中国共产党的重和赞许。

During the period of the Revolution o f New Democracy,Zhang Zhi -zhong,ch ief general and reliable officer to Jiang Jie -shi ,made major policies and decisions fo r Kuomingtang.But on the other hand h e remained a firm patriot throughout his life.He followed Sun Zhong -shan' s three principles and devoted himse lf to uniting the two Parties and their cooperation.He did what he could to benefit the cause of the revolution.He made a special contributi on to the Revolution of New Democracy in th e hard situation.As a result he won re spect and praise from the Communist Party of china.
