摘要 长期以来,受结构主义和生成语法学派的影响,语言学习被认为是对语言规则的掌握和单词的积累,而词语在语言中的重要作用却被严重忽视。针对这一现象,词汇学派提出了词汇短语(或“预制板块”)的概念,认为词汇短语,而非生成学派所提出的句法,才是语言使用者内化知识的基础,继而认为外语学习中应注重对词汇短语的掌握,以达到熟练使用目标语言的目的。 It has long been assumed by the structuralists and TG grammarians that syn tactic rules are the central factor i n lan-guage learning,with the importance of lexis being undervalued.The lexical approach advocates hold that an i mpor-tant part of language acquisition is the ability to comprehend and produce lexical phrases as unanalyzed wholes,orprefabricated chunks,and that these chunks become the raw d ata by which learners perceive patte rns of language traditionally thought of as grammar.The acquisition of these chunks als o explains the difference between th e native speaker and the second language learner in language fluency.
