历史学与语言学相结合的典范——读李老文实先生的《西陲古地与羌藏文化》新著的体会

An examphe of combining historiography with linguistics

本文着重就《西陲古地与羌藏文化》在对地名的考证和民族历史的某些问题的研究上 ,运用民族语言材料、语言学的理论和方法进行论证的方法 ,进行了评述 ,赞佩作者思想的严谨和论述的缜密 ,认为本书是在研究民族历史方面的一个历史学与语言学相结合的典范。同时也提出了一些问题 ,聆听教诲 ,以解迷茫。

Through commenting the way of making demonstration by using national languages'material and linguistic theory and methods in investigating place names and studying some problems of national history,the present article thinks that this book is an cxample of combining historiography with linguistics in the respect of studying national history and admires author's cautious thoughts and thorough exposition & raises some problems in order to listen to instruction and solve confasion.
