Isolates of X.oryzae pv.oryzae(X.o.o.)re-sistant to Saikuzuo[N,N-methylene-di(2-amino-5-sulfurhydrogen-1,3,4-thioazole)]were selected from laboratory and field for thestudy of their characteristics.The laboratoryresistant mutants had no pathogenicity on rice,and the field resistant isolates did not show re-sistance to Saikuzuo in vitro.These strainsshowed cross resistance to homologue bacteri-cide Dikuzuo(TH-128),but seems no resis-
