在一定的技术条件下企业存在合理规模和最佳规模。企业要扩大生产规模以获取更大的利润 ,必须对现有的技术进行革新。否则 ,企业只能以同样的规模进行外延性扩展。经过理论分析得出 :企业的最佳规模随着技术创新将不断扩大。对于某项技术创新 ,企业的理性投资条件应是技术创新带来的可变成本的降低量不低于用于该项技术创新的投资量。当然 ,企业为了长远利益 。
