摘要
Ancient Chinese had developed various perfect expressive strokes, which we call BiMo, on their painting. Those contemporary artists who want to keep the tradition are often seduced to the trap of copying ancient way. Making up his mind to find a new expressive stroke in his painting, Mr. Tan Jiwen has spent over two decades in describing and comparing different rocks on Wulin Mountain. and finally discovered a new special parallel stroke (which he calls Ping Xing Cun ) which is suitable to describe the rocks in that area.
