Traditional medicines given through therectum was created by the noted scientistZhang Zhong-jing in the Han dynasty.Thismethod has long been applied in China.Sincethe 1950 it has proved to be effectivesystemically,It has developed greatly in recentyears and applied in clinical practice.In thisarticle,we discuss the mechanism of method,application and advantages and disadvantages.
