This Paper describes the role of the scientech documentation indexing and retrieve in information transmission and suggests that the library's scientech documentation indexing and retrieve section should be equipped with more dictionaries of various kinds, conduct studies on composition of the readers and their requirements, and open more information channels to the readers.
