《An Incomplete Volume of the Article with One Thousand Letters>was Gao Xian (the great calligraphist cursively in the late Tang Dynasty) calligraphy alone handed down, the paper makes various textual research for it and relative topics. First from the beginning of the textual research for Gao Xian died date, believes that the incomplete volume should not be Gao Xian calligraphy; also through the analysis for the wrong letters, writing faults and depicting traces in this incomplete volume, points out that the volume was from a copy and makes a judging for its age; the paper also examined the record and spread of the 《Article with One Thousand Letters》; besides, the author in this paper also gave his own view for Gao Xian calligraphy style according to the calligrphy models and literatures.
