“大跃进”运动是我党建国后在建设社会主义道路上所犯的两次全局性错误之一 ,其后果十分严重 ,影响相当深远 ,所以必须对它进行全方位多角度的研究。从“大跃进”运动的动因来看 ,既有理论的号召力 ,又有目标的诱导力 ,还有政治压力在起作用 ;从后果来看 ,显示了典型的悲剧色彩 ,追求目标与客观效果产生了巨大的反差 ;从经验教训来看 。

Great Leap Forward movement is one of the two mistakes affecting the overall situation in the way of China's constructing socialism after our party established People's Republic of China. This movement has produced serious effects and deep influences, so it is necessary to study this problem from all aspects and many angles. From the point of its causes, Great Leap Forward movement was affected by the theory appeal, target inducement as well as political pressure. From the point of results, it was a typical tragedy and showed the big difference between the former objectives and the real results. From the point of lessons, there are a lot of problems worthy of reflecting for us.
