On the Connotation of Higher Vocational Education and Its Socialization

高等职业技术教育是不同于其他类型的高等教育 ,培养目标的应用性、专业设置的紧密性、职业素质的岗位性等 ,体现了其本质内涵是载体的职业性 ,高等职业技术教育社会实践的主要层面是产业服务 ,与社会的联结是产教结合 ,在办学体制上要灵活创新 ,主动扎根于产业之中。

Higher vocational education is different from other types of higher education, in its practicable training objectives, closely related major settings and vocational profession qualities etc. The connotation of higher vocational education lies in its vocational character. The social practice of higher vocational education faces mainly to industry service. To contact society, higher vocational education should be combined with industries. Accordingly, the school running system should be flexible and innovative, rooted in industries.
