Studies on the Synthesis of a New Antiseptic ──Sodium Diacetate

双乙酸钠是一种新型的高效防霉防腐剂 ,具有成本低 ,性质稳定 ,防霉防腐作用显著的优点。合成双乙酸钠的工艺条件为 :冰醋酸氢氧化钠的物质的量比为 2 .1∶1,反应温度为 90℃～ 10 0℃ ,反应时间约 2小时时效果最佳 ,收率可达 86%。

Sodium Diacetate is a new and effective anti-mildew antiseptic, with low cost, stable property and notable function. It can be prepared by interaction of acetic acid and sodium hydroxide in water solution. The quantity ratio of acetic acid to caustic soda should be 2.1 to 1, the proper reactive temperature is 90℃ to 100℃, the best reactive time is about two hours, and the yield will reach 86%. This method is of high practical value.
