在估计动物遗传参数的过程中,其估计值的准确性与由家系数和家系大小决定的样本含量有关。本文讨论了样本含量一定时,不同估计方法在不同条件下的最优试验设计问题,即确定家系数与家系大小之间的关系。此外,还对一些公式进行了修正。并指出了各自适用的范围。
The precision of genetic parameter estimates is discussed. Precision is influenced by the number of observations which are limited by space, labour, and other costs. When the number of observations is given, the best compromise between the family size and the number of families can be obtained with formulae which minimize sampling variance. The optimal family size varies with the estimate methods and conditions. Some Formulae have also been modified for a minimum sampling variance.
