Abstract This article is an analysis of the 119 cases of head-position obstetric forceps operations witnessed by our hospital.The symptoms of such cases are that the infant in the womb lives in a predicament;the second course of infant-production is prolonged;the contraction of the womb is powerless; there appear synthetical symtoms of high blood pressure and sometimes pregnancy scars on the womb walls,etc.This piece also aims at exploring the influence of obstetric forceps.On a pregnant woman and her infant as well,The writer belives that it is surely necessary to use obstetric forceps in treating the head-position dystocia.
