新中国初期私营电影的历史演变包括了它作为一种艺术形式、经济结构、技术体系和文化产品的发展和变革。本文力图从政治、经济、文化三方面考察私营电影赖以生存和发展的生态环境,并以时间为轴,描述其在解放后从彷徨到繁荣到衰退的历史过程,以及这种历史命运的必然动因。并试图从传统承继和时代印痕两方面来阐释每一阶段具体电影创作的艺术得失,把私营电影创作纳入到电影历史发展的轨道中,探索其艺术形态的衍变和转型。

There was once the historical vicissitudes of the private-owned movie industry at the very beginning of new China including its artistic patterns, economic structures and technical system. The passage , however, attempts to find out the way that what it depended upon when struggling for existence in the respects of politics, economy and culture to describe the necessary reason why it has gone through its hesitation, prosperity and decline, which has been considered as its fate and to show the gain and loss in every stage since the foundation of New China, fitting the private-owned movie industry into the course of movie history and inquiring into the development and transformation of its artistic patterns.
