摘要
本文利用笔者1998年个案访谈资料,着重探讨有关夫妻平等的一些理论和方法上的问题。认为,中国城市家庭内部夫妻的平等问题要比建立在市场经济基础上西方理论所描述的夫妻不平等关系复杂的多。只用市场经济条件下使用的直接交换方式和经济资源、权力、家务付出等指标来研究夫妻平等是远远不够的。中国的夫妻平等问题要放在中国的历史、文化、经济和社会背景中进行探讨、研究。
