摘要
在德语的发展过程中 ,外来语对其产生了极大的影响。 2 0世纪以来 ,英语成为世界上最有影响的语言 ,对其他语言产生了很大的冲击。英语对德语的影响首先表现在词汇上 ,同时也影响到德语的拼写、发音、词法和语法体系。大量的英语词涌入德语中 ,既丰富了德语词汇 ,又造成了一定的混乱。因此 ,一些语言学家致力于纯洁德语的工作。
Historically, German has been greatly influenced by foreign cultures. English, which has been the most influential force since the 20th century, has made tremendous impact on many other languages, including German. The influence of English can be found not only in German vocabulary, but also in its spelling, pronunciation, morphology and grammar. A great many words in English have been borrowed into German, which has enlarged German vocabulary and also engendered disorder. Many linguists are working hard to purify German.
