Statistical research of Zoumaluo Bamboo Slips show that the people of Changsa prefecture had custom of naming by combining two surnames to mark their marriages in Sun Wu period. This custom reflects not only the matrimony relationship between native Changsa people and immigrants, but also the ethnical integration feature in the agricultural development in the vast region beyond the Yangtze River.
