摘要 教学离不开测试 ,测试离不开数据的统计和分析 ;只有运用科学的统计分析方法 ,才能获得全面、真实、准确、可靠的数据。在充分论证的基础上 ,作者认为 ,只有将集中量数、差异量数、标准分这三者有机地结合起来 ,将他们运用于大学英语测试成绩的统计分析之中 ,才能对测试成绩作出全面、准确的统计分析 ,为改进大学英语教学、提高大学英语教学质量提供更详尽、更全面、更准确、更有价值的统计数据和分析资料 ,才能够正确地、更好地、更有效地运用测试手段来检查学生的成绩及评价老师的教学效果。 Teaching cannot be isolated from testing and testing from the statistical analysis of data. Only with a scientific method of the statistical analysis can we get the overall, true, accurate and reliable data of the statistical analysis. The author, upon the basis of a detailed study, holds that the organic combination of Measures of Central Tendency, Measures of Dispersion and Standard Score and their application to the statistical analysis of the test results in College English can present an overall analysis and accurate statistics, and in turn it will offer more detailed, more overall, more accurate, more valuable statistical data and analytic information, thus improving College English teaching and enhancing its teaching quality. Only in this way can we safely say that we have employed the goal of testing: the tests in a correct and efficient way to inspect the students' academic record and to appraise the teachers' teaching effect.
