摘要
本文描述性地研究了英语教学中的课堂会话,使用的教材为<新编大学英语>.课堂过程研究是课堂第二语言习得领域中正在发展的一种研究方法.课堂会话分析则是课堂过程研究的一个方面.该分析反映了师生在课堂中的共同贡献,而不仅限于研究教师的话语.本文分析了该英语课堂中的大量课堂会话,结果发现:(1)会话结构较为复杂,但是IRE结构仍然存在;(2)师生间的交流接近真实的交际.
This paper studies classroom discourse in an English classroom in which the textbook we are using is New College English . Classroom process research is a developing approach which investigates classroom L2 acquisition. The analysis of classroom discourse is a late form which classroom process research has taken. The analysis of classroom discourse involving L2 learners illustrates the joint contributions of teacher and students, rather than focusing only on the teacher's language. Through both quantitative and qualitative analyses of a substantial amount of classroom discourse in the L2 classroom, the following features are derived: 1) the discourse structures are more complex while IRF structure still exists; 2) interaction between teacher and students in the L2 classroom is close to real communication.
