摘要 本文分析了外语教育"工具论"的根源、危害和对策.指出:"工具论"源于功利心,其危害是,外语教育低效费时,难以培养出长效、扎实、以不变应万变的优秀人才.要解决这一问题,应在观念、人才培养的方针、师资、测试以及学科的设置和建设等方面狠下功夫. The present paper analyses the sources, the negative effects of the Instrument Theory in foreign language education and the supposed countermeasures. The paper points out that to solve the above problem it is necessary to take pains to change relevant conceptions of the fostering of qualified foreign language graduates. Other related elements contributing to the solving of the problem include the guiding principles of education, the teaching staff, tests and the construction of disciplines.
