An Outline of Piof. Yang Zhaoming's Needling Academic thought

本文以辨证、针刺技巧、针刺手法的实质研究诸方面介绍了杨兆民教授的学术观点。杨氏认为辨证取穴应注重“五辨”、“八法”,进针手法贵在稳、准、轻、快,研究针刺手法应以量学、力学的角度探讨针刺的刺激量,凡能鼓舞人体正气,使低下的功能恢复旺盛的刺法即为“补法”;凡能疏泄病邪使亢进的功能恢复正常的刺法则为“泄法”。

Professor Yang Zhaomin's academic viewpoints are introduoed in this paper, which mainly comsists of some aspects such ao differential diagnoses, acupncture techiques and manipulations. Mr. Yong zhinks that we should emphasice on 'five differentiotions' and 'eight methods' when we select acupoints, That acupcmcture techiques mucst be firm, accurate, light and quick, and that we should study acupuncture quantity from the point of science of magnanimity and mechemics. Mr. Yang defines that reinforcement is a method that can make deficiency recovred and reduction can make hyperfunction recovered.
