摘要
分析谜语“隐”与“显”的特点和《红楼梦》灯谜诗谶化的特点 ;提出谜语翻译的三大原则 :底面扣合、形式工整和音韵和谐 ;比较杨宪益、戴乃迭译本和霍克斯译本在灯谜翻译中的不同风格和取向 ;探讨?译过程中《红楼梦》灯谜翻译的三大难点 ,即底面扣合。
From a literary artistic point of view, a brief analysis of riddles and lantern riddles in Hongloumeng is made and then the two unique styles and methodologies of translating riddles are discussed A daring attitude towards translating literary classics is proposed Only in this way can Chinese culture preserve its cultural identity and enjoy more and more readers
