进入2世纪以后，教会对基督的认识与使徒时代相比，发生了巨大的变化。使徒们对基督有着非常直观的感性认识，他们知道基督就在他们中间，他是—位值得尊敬的、和善的老师。但—个世纪以后，这种感受对大多数教会来说，变得越来越生疏了。究其原因，大概有如下几点。
