This article is mainly to introduce Irenaeus’ thoughts about Christology and redemption the center of Irenaeus’ theological thoughts,as the basis of the continuity of the creation-redemption. Before Athanasius and Gregory of Nazianzus gave Christology a com- plete molding and refining.Recapitulation is one of Irenaeus’ basic doctrines,this means that human beings obtain renewal and compen- sation are in Christ.
