本文比较了传统的多媒体信息检索方法和基于内容的检索方法的异同,论述了基于内容的图像检索技术的特点、技术、方法,并指出了多媒体信息检索时需要解决的几个关键问题。
This paper compares the differences between traditional retrieval and BIR, describes the feature, techniques and method of CBIR, and points out the problems that have to be resolved for retrieval of multimedia information.
