An Enlightenment of Verschueren's Pragmatic Theory on Pragmantax

Verschueren在区分语言资源的语言学和语言使用的语言学的基础上提出了语用综观论 ,根据使用语言就是进行语言选择的观点提出了顺应论。 Verschueren的语用理论对语用句法研究有如下几点启示 :1 )语用综观论为语用句法研究提供了理论依据 ;2 )语言的可变性和协商性为语用句法指明了研究的对象和范围 ;3)顺应论为语用句法研究提供了有效的途径。

On the basis of the distinction made between linguistics of language resources and linguistics of language use, Verschueren has put forward the theory of pragmatic perspective on language. He has also proposed the theory of adaptation on the basis that using language must consist of the continuous making of linguistic choices. His pragmatic theory has the following enlightenment on pragmantax. First, his pragmatic perspective on language provides the theoretical basis for pragmantax. Second, such properties of language as variability and negotiability make clear the object and scope of pragmantax. Third, the theory of adaptation offers to pragmantax an effective way of investigation.
