摘要
本文提出了在外语教学中除了培养学生的听、说、读、写四会能力外 ,还必须使学生具备另外一种能力——文化能力。为了使学生获取文化能力 ,外语教学中的文化教学应该有明确的目标和指导实现这些目标的教学原则。本文从以下四个方面阐述了外语教学中的文化教学原则 :1 )对目标文化重在认识和了解的认知原则 ;2 )吸收目标文化中有益成分的吸收原则 ;3)注意比较、对照本土文化和目标文化的对比原则 ;4)摒弃文化歧视的宽容原则。
This paper holds that in foreign language teaching, the students are required to have cultural competence besides the four skills: speaking, listening comprehension, reading and writing. In order that the students acquire cultural competence, culture teaching in foreign language instruction must have definite objectives and teaching principles through which the objectives are realized. The paper puts forward and illustrates the four culture teaching principles in foreign language teaching. They are Cognitive Principle, Absorptive Principle, Comparative Principle and Tolerant Principle.
