The Gender Angle in the Research on the "Baibaishun" Issue As Seen from the Terminological Changes

本文通过近年来在买卖春问题研究中“买卖春”、“嫖娼卖淫”、“嫖娼买淫”等用语上的变化,分析性别研究视角对这一研究领域的影响,强调买卖春问题研究中自觉应用性别研究视角选用词语的重要意义。

Basing on the changes in the use of such terms as 'Baibaishun,' 'whoring and prostitution', 'whoring and buying sex' in recent years' research on the 'Baibaishun' issue, this paper analyses the impact of the gender research angle on research in this field, and emphasizes the importance of consciously applying the gender research angle to the choice of words in the research on the 'Baibaishun' issue.
