摘要
传统上差异巨大的英汉两种语言在当代构词手段至少在三个方面表现出令人瞩目的共性特征:(1)词汇结构短语化,(2)缩略词激增,(3)类比构词活跃.本文分析了这些共性特征形成的原因,并指出它们反映了在人类社会发展目趋一致的背景下语言融合不断增强的趋势.
In spite of their great differences, English and Chinese today show some picturesque common features in their word\|formation. The author analyses the features in three aspects and argues that they reflect the dominant trend of linguistic fusion at present.
