摘要 在很多情况下 ,语言教学和学习倾向集中在句子水平上。本文作者从多年的外语教学经验中发现组词成句 ,组句成段和组段成篇是大学生英语写作中的一个非常严重的问题。这不仅是由于忽视语法规则的原因 ,更为重要的是衔接和连贯的技巧问题。本篇文章在介绍语篇理论的基础上 ,对《二十一世纪大学英语》中的课文进行了语篇分析 ,旨在向英语学习者灌输真正的语篇是如何组织起来的 。 In many cases, language teaching and learning tend to devote to sentential level. My experience as a teacher of English has shown that organizing words in a sentence and sentences into a paragraph and paragraphs into a text poses a serious problem for most students, that is not only an unawareness of grammatical rules, but more often cohesion and coherence techniques. By illustrating the discourse theory, the present paper shall give a discourse analysis of a sample text from 21st Century College English, in an attempt to instill in English learners an awareness of how authentic texts are organized, and then how to apply the theory to their actual writings.
