高年级视听说课程教学改革——“共同参与式”教学模式

“Working Together”: A Newly-developed Method of Teaching and Learning for the Visual-audio-oral Course in the New Century

大学英语教学改革是当前的一项重要任务。本文探讨了高年级视听说课程在新世纪要求下的教与学。在“共同参与式教学法”基本理论指导下 ,视听说教学内容体现当代大学生的智力因素和成长需求 ;教学模式以学生为中心 ,在学生运用英语语言进行交际的同时 ,也注重培养学生的组织能力、交际能力、思考能力和创新能力。

English language teaching in universities is now under a reform. This paper explores the effective way of teaching and learning for the visual audio oral course in the new century. The newly developed teaching method “working together” serves as the basic theory for this study. The course contents cater for the factors of the intelligence and development of the modern university students. Student centered approach is the focus of the classroom teaching. Students are provided opportunities to practice their language in the classroom and to participate in social activities for a stronger ability in organization, communication and creativity.
