“N”+“们”的选择限制与“N们”的表义功用

The selective restrictions of "N+们" and the expressive functions of "N 们"

本文首先从音节、语义、语用三个方面揭示了"N"+"们"的种种选择限制;然后探讨了"们"附在通用与专用、指人与指物等不同的"N"之后所具有的各种表义功用。本文的基本结论是:现代汉语中的"们"不是表示"复数"语法范畴的构形方式,而是表示多种类别"群体"特征的表义手段。

In this paper,the selective restrictions of Chinese nouns attached men(们)are described in three aspects:prosody,semantics and pragmatics,and the variations of N+们 are revealed by different functions in discourse.In Mandarin Chinese,men is not a grammatical category of plu- ral but a expression emphasizing the referent as a group.
