言语应用理论的重要课题:名家改笔研究

One of the Important Tasks in Applied Linguistics: Research Work on Re-wording of Great Writers

本文将名家改笔研究看作还原作者创作时心理历程的一种尝试 ,因而认为与一般作品语言研究相比 ,它具有极强的可信度和说服力。文章还在大量研究资料的基础上 ,详细分析了当前研究中存在的主要问题。最后 ,文章认为要使这类研究进一步发展 ,首先应该解决评判标准的客观性、样例研究的系统性、语言环境的制约性、改笔研究与语言学理论修养的关系等一系列基本问题。

This paper treats the research work on re\|wording as an attempt to reconstruct the psychological process undergoing during the writers' literary creation,and thrcs recognizes it as more demonstrative and more convincing compared with other linguistic approaches. Based on a detailed analysis of a large amount of research materials, we find some problems in this field: exaggerated evaluation, under and/or mis interpretation of the underlying cause, and mis application of linguistic knowledge. Therefore, the paper concludes, further development of such research is dependent on the solution of the following fundamental problems: the objectivity of evaluation standards, the systematicness of case study, the degree of contextual constraint, the relationship between efficient research work and personal competence in linguistic theory.
