50 Years of Development of the Art of Yangqin

本文对建国五十年来中国扬琴艺术的发展进行了综合梳理。探讨了扬琴在乐器改革、作品创作、演奏技巧、理论研究以及教育五个方面所取得的成就，总结出继承、借鉴、创新是扬琴艺术成功发展的基石所在；同时指出扬琴艺术在２１世纪继续前进中有待进一步解决的问题。以个别展示一般，从过去展望未来；期望通过这些论述为我国民族器乐事业发展的策略制定，提供一些事实依据和实践经验。

This article synthetically sorts out the 50 years' development of Yangqin art of China. And it inquires into Yangqin's role in the reformation of musical instrument, creation of musical works, performing techniques, study of musical theory and musical education. The reasons why Yangqin art can develop successfully are summed up to be inheritance, using for reference and bringing forth new ideas in this article. Simultaneously, the article also points out the existing proglems that need to be solved on the way of Yangqin's continuous development. There is a Chinese saying, casting a brick can attract jade. I hope this article can provide come factual basis and experience for the making of developing strategies of our instrumental music.
