《文化语义学》一书将语言与文化的研究上升到了更高的理论层次。同以前的研究相比 ,这本著作的二级符号系统理论更加完善 ,从词的内部形式探寻语言差异及语际干扰产生的根源 ,并将文化语义学的研究范围扩展到动词、词的搭配及句子层面。该书在理论上更加系统 ,视野上更加开阔 ,是吴国华教授。

Cultural Semantics ,a book by Professor Wu Guo hua and Doctor Yang Xi chang, puts the study of language and culture at a higher theoretical level.The book,which has advanced the theory of duality of signs,tries to explore in the internal structures of words for the factors underlying linguistic variation and cross language interference,and has extended the cultural semantic research to the areas of verbs,collocations and sentences. More systematic in theory and broader in views,the book is undoubtedly another great work of its kind.
