The role of lexical phrases in second language acquisition

摘要本文首先介绍了英语词汇短语的种类及其主要特征，然后从第二语言习得的角度，围绕英语词汇短语的作用展开讨论。文章认为，词汇短语对第二语言习得具有重要的作用，主要可以概述为5个方面：1．有利于改善言语交际的流利性；2．有利于提高近似本族语的词语选用能力；3．有利于增强语用意识；4．有利于克服结构法和交际法的偏激倾向；5．有利于调动学生的学习积极性。 This article begins with a brief introduction of the classification and major features of English lexical phrases, and then devotes itself to a discussion on the role of English lexical phrases in second language acquisition. The article holds that English lexical phrases play an important role in the learning of English as second language and can contribute much to the following 5 aspects: 1. promoting native like fluency; 2. promoting native like selection; 3. raising pragmatic consciousness; 4. avoiding the extremes of the structural approach and the communicative approach, and 5. mobilizing learners positive factors.
