The implications of Relevance Theory for classroom reading activities

摘要 关联理论的实质是经济原则。最佳关联不仅可以解释话语理解,而且对阅读理解也具有指导意义。本文从交际最佳关联的角度出发,根据注意的选择性特点审视控制性阅读,提出具有课堂阅读特色的阅读模式。 The essence of the Relevance Theory put forward by Sperber and Wilson (1986/1995) is the principle of economy. Optimal relevance not only cherishes a powerful explanatory potential for the interpretation of overt communication, but also has a far reaching influence on reading comprehension model. Based on the principle of optimal relevance, the paper proposes a question based reading comprehension model.
