元语用论概述

A Review of Metapragmatics

本文结合元语用论在语用学中的实际应用来说明元语用论的目的、研究对象、特点和意义。在元语用论层面上 ,语用学的一些重要原理和原则 ,如礼貌原则、经济原则以及描写语用效果的语言可得到充分的阐释。元语用论是推动语用学发展的根本动力。

This paper attempts to analyze the position and functions of metapragmatics in the development of pragmatic theories. We first analyze the purpose, object, characteristics, significance and functions of metapragmatics, and then examine some important pragmatic principles and maxims such as politeness principle, principle of economy and the metalanguage describing pragmatic forces in terms of metapragmatics. We conclude that metapragmatics is the motive power of the development of pragmatics.
