改革开放20多年来,中国食品工业得到了长足的发展,整个行业产值的不断增长,市场的不断扩大,都极大地吸引着世界关注的目光。不少外国食品企业,包括设备、原料和配料供应商,注意到了中国市场的不断壮大,纷纷到中国设立办事处等销售和服务机构。随着市场的发展,更有不少公司已在国内建起了生产厂。这些外国企业的进入,带来了新的产品、新的技术、新的意识,以及更激烈的竞争,推动着我国食品工业的发展,带动我国企业在参与国际化市场竞争的同时,学会生存、发展、壮大。这些外企有一个共同的特色,就是员工的本地化,也就是说,有很多中国人服务于这些外国企业,他们构成了一个特殊的群体——外企中国人。 换一个视角可以看到很多新的事物,本刊特别组织了“外企中国人·国际小沙龙”活动,邀请这些外企中国人聊聊他们眼中的中国食品工业。

The rapid development of China's food industry continues to attract numerous foreign investors. Accompanying this business growth, there now exists a special community of local Chinese employees who work for foreign enterprises. Drawing on their experiences from the operation and development of foreign companies in China, this community share its points of view to provide readers a better understanding of the differences in management skills and services in foreign and local enterprises.
