This article examines the following topics comprehensively:the definition of case study;the strengths and weaknesses of the case study method;how to conduct case study;the application of case study in teaching;case study design;data collection;analyzing case study evidence;writing case study report;and the examples of case study classics in the United States as well as in P.R.China.
