外语教学质量的高低和教学效果的好坏在很大程度上取决于教材.但教材必须要有个性,不能是全国所有高校统一一种教材.本文从分析党校现用英语教材的弊端入手,提出了党校的外语教材应根据其教学目的、要求、时限和学员的特点,体现出党校的特色.

The quality and result of the foreign language teaching depends on the textbooks to a great extent. We think we can't use the only ONE English textbook in all the colleges and universities in our country. We hold that the textbook must have its own specific character of each school. The present paper analyses the abuses of the English textbook used in the Party School now. We put forward the idea that the English textbook of the Party School should be on the basis of the aims, demands,time limit and the characteristics of the students. It must embody the distinctive features of the Party School.
