A Comparative Study of the Rhyming Schemes Between The Book of Songs（诗经）and Inscriptions on the West and East Zhou (两周）Period Bronze Objects

一般来说，诗歌与散文的押韵方式应该不同，但《诗经》与两周金文的押韵方式却极为相似，无论是从韵在句中的位置，或是从韵在一章中的位置，以及一章多韵来看，都大致相同。它们共同表现为韵式多种多样、用韵自由灵活，反映出了先秦时期诗文作品用韵的一般情况。

Generally speaking, there should be considerable differences in rhyming schemes between poetry and prose. But the respective rhyming schemes used in The Book of Songs（诗经） and the inscriptions on the West and East Zhou （两周） period bronze objects bear close resemblance wherever they are, in sentences or chapters. The resemblance lies in the flexibility and variation of patterns, which reveals the common rhyming characteristics in both poetry and prose in the pre－Qin （先秦） period.
