《苦闷的象征》的翻译与传播呼应了五四之后中国新文学由“呐喊”向“彷徨”的时代转型,其现代性文艺思想填补了五四文学主体性理论建设的空白。鲁迅对《苦闷的象征》的译介及其在创作中的尝试为中国现代文学理论建设树立了现代性的文学参照。
The translation and the spreading of The Symbol of Depress echoed the era changements after the May 4th movement. In that time, the Chinese modern literature was changing from' Whoop' to 'Mooch'. The modern literary thoughts in The Symbol of Depress padded the principalblank in theory to the May-Forth literary movement. Lu Xun's translation and his attempt in creation erected a modem consult to the Chinese modern literary theory construction.
